Kang’s Taekwondo — founded in 1998 by Grand Master Hyung Kook Kang, former head coach of Australia’s national taekwondo team (2004–2008) and medallist at World Championships in Korea, Egypt and Turkey — is a premier martial arts academy in Rouse Hill (HQ). The academy offers structured classes for children, teens, adults and families, teaching core values like discipline, integrity, physical fitness and self-defence. Its globally informed curriculum, developed through university-level research at Kyung Hee University in Korea and continually enhanced via seminars with Taekangwon, is delivered by an elite team: international referees, world championship medallists, national team athletes and the NSW Technical Director Inho Kang. Kang’s athletes consistently excel in competition — in 2024 they amassed 73 gold, 18 silver and 23 bronze at NSW State Championships, while 9 students made Australia’s national team for a decade straight.
